Happy Friday! Hope everyone has had a great week! It has been a whirlwind around here and the next week will prove to be the same! I only have a moment this morning and then the craziness will begin!
We are in the last week before Science Fair. Next Friday is the big day (thank goodness), and then we can all take a big sigh of relief. Before then, we must find a few more judges, finish our project, I must grade my class' projects and we must do all the last minute preparations.
We have the two oldest boys playing in basketball games this weekend and Dancer is cheering in another one.
This is also birthday week around here. My little princess will turn 7 years old tomorrow! I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone. I can remember not being willing to believe she was a girl. And then drowning her in pink everything when she really was. Everyone told me with two older brothers she would be a tomboy. And she can hold her own with those boys. But she is as girly as girly comes. My little splash of pretty pink in a world of sports and cars and balls and mud! She loves to read with me, cook with me, and momma Tigercub with me. I am SO grateful that God saw fit to add one little girl to our house of boys!
On Wednesday, we will celebrate Tigerfan's birthday and then next Saturday is my Mother In Law's. It will be a cake extravaganza around here!
I would love to stay and chat longer, but we have school and Science projects, and papers and guitar and dance and a ball game to do today. Somewhere in there, I would like to run...I have talked B.B. into training for a 5K with me, and if I do not go to the grocery store, we are going to have to start stripping wood off furniture to gnaw on.
I hope you have a blessed weekend! I will try to get around to visiting, but I don't know how far I'll get this week! Be sure to go to Home Sanctuary for more Coffee Talk.

It's my birthday tomorrow too! But I am a little bit older than 7.
Happy Birthdays to all! It seems the first 2 years take forever then from 4 on it goes by way too quickly! My little doll loves martial arts and can already block her dad's punches at 6. But one time, she was blocking with one hand and holding her dolly with the other. Talk about girly girl. I just love it!
Have a great week! Can't wait to see pictures from Science Fair.
Happy Birthday to your family! My son turned 8 on Wednesday and I just can't believe it! They grow up so fast!
Good luck with all your activities this weekend!
I have three kids - one girl (oldest) and two boys - and she can hold her own too! She's five, and now wants to be more girly ... I'm not a girly-girl, so it's a bit of a challenge (lol!).
Have a great week :)
Happy Birthday to your daughter. LOL, I had the same response when I too found out #3 was a girl, with two boys already we were steeped in everything boy. She is both a tomboy and a girlie girl. Beware, she can take down anyone, while dressed up like a princess.
Yum...cake! Happy Birthday!!! Love the one picture of your little girl. She's adorable.
ah, girly girls are so much fun!
Oh, I'm so glad the Lord blessed you with a little girl too. She is a sweetie and I do hope she has a wonderful day tomorrow. I know you will feel such relief with the "projects" are behind you. But, what a fine job you are doing!! Happy Week-end!
Isn't the hair crazy?! I don't know what to do with it. And it's really dry too. Boo!
Anyhow, hope things will work out for the science fair...they usually do.
Happy birthday to Dancer!
My brother has 3 older sisters, and yes, even though he did have his share of pink onesies (they were light pink so it wasn't that bad), he's a real guy's guy. Any girl is lucky to marry him since he knows how to be around girls. =p
Take it easy this weekend, and enjoy the cake.
Wow..sounds like a whirlwind life for you! Hope everyone enjoys the birthdays and all the cake! I have 5 daughters and everyone is very different.....one really is a tomboy but another is a fashion diva! never a dull moment with girls, to be sure!
Thanks for stopping to visit today. I LOVED how you mentioned your lack of food in the house -- me too!!! Crazy how fast it can go. Also, thank you for reminding me that He is enough and you are completely correct there. Unlike "traditional" friendships I can turn to Him at any hour of any day. I definitely don't take that relationship for granted! Have a great time with all the birthdays :)
My daughter is the same way. She can keep up with the boys, but she still likes pink and dressing up.
How fun! I love birthday extravaganza! Ours mainly fall in two different months, July and November. So we get a break here for a while. :) My 8 year old was invited to a birthday party for tomorrow. As long as we can fit it in after church, this will be her second one outside of our family that she's been to. My baby girl is growing up!
Enjoy your weekend!

Happy Birthday Dancer! Hope the b-day festivities are grand! This is big birthday month at our house-oldest daughter on the 9th, mine, #3 daughter the 27th. We don't do parties every year because I can't hang, but this is the year of the parties. I guess I'm still not hanging because I've still not planned anything.
Praying all goes well with the science fair projects...
It means so much knowing that you are praying for me this week, Thankyou.
Wow girl, I am tired after reading this. LOL.
I hope you will get to rest & have some time to yourself, after the Science fair is over. You sound like you could use some "mommy time."
Happy Birthday to your little girl and enjoy all that birthday cake.

I'm very late catching up from last week! Can't believe it's Friday already tomorrow. Sounds like you had a very busy 'to do' list this week, hope you managed to be productive and also enjoy all the good stuff like birthdays.
