But honestly, I know so many people who gave their parents grief during those teen years and are perfectly fine adults now, and then those perfect straight A students who went crazy as soon as they were "free" from their parents during college and after. It is a struggle throughout this stage but when we discipline with the Lord's help, they will come to realize we do love them. I guess I'm speaking from the youthworker side of things, because from the parenting side, what do I really know about having a teen? =p Anyhow, enough pretending like I know what I am talking about...that is too funny about that pop up brush huh? I might have to get one for us too...it was only 98 cents at Target!

Oh and a verse?...Psalm 46:1(??) God is our refuge and strength, our everpresent help in trouble.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7900635164777583338.post-54680548941181115132010-11-12T14:01:00.524-08:002010-11-12T14:01:00.524-08:00This is not a verse, but my precious Mom's fav...This is not a verse, but my precious Mom's favorite saying was always, "this too shall pass." And, it will, all too quickly. Try to focus on his positive traits and I bet he is going to make you one proud Momma one day as I'm sure he has already. Your children are well grounded and they are precious. Take a deep breath and hang on for the ride. :o)Lea @ CiCis Cornerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09252011706208068724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7900635164777583338.post-46606600942810987042010-11-12T13:14:20.273-08:002010-11-12T13:14:20.273-08:00I also want to say “thanks” for the lovely complim...I also want to say “thanks” for the lovely compliment you wrote on my makeover post on Shari’s blog! In the thick of the toddler years I find myself quoting from Romans all day long, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".
